Spider-Man: No Way Home will be released on December 17, 2021. “Spider-Man” movie is available to stream at home, but only select films are available.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is finally playing in cinemas around the world, and will exclusively be there for some time. However, with various world events stopping many from taking a trip to the theater, the question of when will Spider-Man: No Way Home be on Disney Plus has become of high urgency for everyone trying to avoid spoilers on the internet.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is some time off reaching Disney Plus. The company behind the Spider-Man movies, Sony, reached a deal with Disney back in April 2021 that will see future Spider-Man releases available on its streamer one day. So, that’s good news! But unfortunately, the agreement doesn’t start for some time.

As part of the deal, which was estimated to be worth over $3 billion, Sony movies released from 2022 to 2026 will be eligible to stream on Disney’s services – i.e. Disney Plus and Hulu – after the 18-month window. That’s because Sony already has a separate deal with Netflix that means its movies will appear on that streaming service first. The Netflix partnership ended a long-running deal between Sony and Starz that’s been in place since 2005 and officially begins in 2022. Yes, the streaming wars are very real.
Spider-Man: No Way Home release date
For those wondering when the new MCU flick features the infamous wall-crawler, look no further. Spider-Man: No Way Home is currently scheduled to release in theaters on December 17, 2021.
Many are wondering if it will receive the streamer treatment at the same time as its theatrical debuts, like Black Widow being available through premiere access on Disney+ or Godzilla Vs. Kong was available for no additional charge for HBO Max subscribers.
When will ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ be available for streaming?

For those who have missed the news, Spider-Man: No Way Home is a follow-up to 2019’s Spider-Man: Far From Home. At the end of Far From Home, villainous Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) revealed to the world that Peter Parker was Spider-Man. No Way Home will see Peter facing accusations he murdered Mysterio and asking Dr. Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) for help.
However, based on the trailers for the film, it seems that asking Dr. Strange for help doesn’t go as planned, and Peter ends up opening a portal to the multiverse instead. He faces off against villains from previous Spider-Man films who have been unleashed in his reality. Now, Peter must save his reputation and the world before the fabric of reality threatens to fray forever.
Spider-man: No Way Home Cast and Crew
The cast and crew of Spiderman: No Way Home have been announced. The film is being directed by Jon Watts, who helmed the first two Spider-Man films for Marvel Studios. Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, who wrote the screenplay for Spider-Man: Homecoming, are returning to write the script for this film.

Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige produce the movie under the Pascal Pictures and Marvel Studios banners. Plot details for Spiderman: No Way Home remains primarily unknown other than during Peter Parker’s sophomore year of high school.
Spider-Man: No Way Home synopsis
Plot details are scarce for Spider-Man: No Way Home and the official synopsis has yet to come out. But it isn’t tricky for those who have been keeping track of the entire ordeal to make an educated guess as to what the narrative could entail.
A lot of rumors have also come out regarding the Multiverse, and it would seem that Spider-Man: No Way Home will bring the Spider-Verse into the MCU, allowing for the return and debut of other wall-crawlers from other dimensions. The concept worked very well for the Acadamy award-winning film Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse that saw characters like Spider-Woman, Spider-Ham, and Spider-Man Noir and more fight alongside Miles Morales Spider-Man.
If this does turn out to be accurate, Spider-Man: No Way Home will be one MCU flick fans will not want to miss, and it’s safe to assume that whatever goes down, people will not be disappointed by the Jon Watts directed feature.

Who is in Spider-Man: No Way Home?
It’s Londoner Tom Holland’s third solo outing as Peter Parker, with Zendaya back as MJ, Marisa Tomei playing Aunt May, Jon Favreau as Iron Man crossover mentor Happy Hogan and Jacob Batalon returning as Peter’s BFF Ned Leeds. Expect Tony Revolori and Broad City’s Hannibal Buress to pop up as classmate-stroke-school-bully Flash Thompson and Midtown High PE teacher Coach Wilson, respectively.
The film will also feature Benedict Cumberbatch’s ‘Sorcerer Supreme Doctor Strange, making a pit stop in New York ahead of his own sequel, In the Multiverse of Madness. He adds the crossover connection to the wider MCU that Tony Stark once offered, as well as the key to the movie’s multiverse-spanning pyrotechnics.
The most exciting new additions are actually faced from Spidey’s cinematic past: alongside JK Simmons’ shock-jock TheDailyBugle.net editor J Jonah Jameson (who cameoed in Far From Home) is a bevy of ghosts from previous Spider-Man franchise entries, among them Willem Dafoe’s sinister Green Goblin, Alfred Molina’s GOAT Doctor Octopus and Jamie Foxx, who last appeared in the dismally received The Amazing Spider-Man 2. It remains to be seen whether Thomas Haden Church and Rhys Ifans will be back as Sandman and Lizard, though those characters are confirmed to return in CGI form at the very least.
