Is The 355 Streaming On HBO MAX?
In a pair of tweets today, HBO Max announced that the new show from Neil LaBute, The Inbetweeners, will premiere on the service on March 17. Less clear is when it will begin streaming in all other countries outside of North America. After asking for clarification on one of the posts, a representative told me they don’t have further information on when it will be available for international fans.
I am waiting on an update from HBO Max, but initially, this was not good news for everyone outside of the U.S., Canada and Latin America (Mexico, Central America and South America). The official press release makes it sound like the show will only air in the U.S. and Latin America at first, saying that the show “will debut on HBO Max beginning March 17.”
Is The 355 on Amazon Prime?
I was sure that I had heard that modern-day Hitchcockian thriller 355 was coming to Amazon Prime Video. While the service does have several other French offerings available, I can’t find 355 anywhere. This is not another case of an American company getting their DVDs/Blu-Rays out too quickly and having them expire before you’ve had a chance to watch them. I can’t find 355 on Amazon because there is no English language release for the movie at all. So no, 355 is not coming to Amazon Prime Video and probably won’t ever come.
The Plot of the 355 – What’s in a Name?
The 355 Streaming is about three women, the three ‘Fates’ of Greek mythology. I won’t go into too much detail about what happens in the movie because it would be doing you a great disservice by spoiling things that are best left until after seeing the movie. Still, the title itself, ‘355’, is more than just referring to the three women who appear in this film. It’s also an allusion to the day of the Paris attacks (November 13, 2015) when one band of jihadists armed with suicide vests and assault rifles attacked six separate locations killing 137 people.
