When will Moonfall be released?
A year after filming concluded, Moonfall will be released on February 4, 2022.
Production was set to begin in March 2020, but the coronavirus pandemic delayed filming and, subsequently the release date by seven months.
When Will Moonfall Be Streaming?
A digital release date for Moonfall has not yet been announced. However, we can guess that the film might be available to rent on premium-on-demand as early as late February. This is based on other recent Lionsgate releases like Spiral and Voyagers, which became available to rent on PVOD around three weeks after opening in theaters.

Will I Watch Moonfall On HBO Max?
No, sorry. Moonfall is not a Warner Bros. movie, and therefore will not be streaming on HBO Max when it opens in theaters. Plus, HBO Max will no longer be streaming theatrical movies simultaneously in 2022.
Last year, Warner Media opted to simultaneously release its theatrical slate on streaming, allowing HBO Max subscribers to watch movies like Matrix Resurrections and Dune at home. This year, though, Warner Bros. theatrical movies will have a 45-day theaters-only run before heading to HBO Max.
