Watch Venom: Let There Be Carnage is in a movie theater when it opens on Friday, October 1. Sony Pictures quickly put into motion plans for a sequel, and now “Venom 2” is ready to be unleashed upon the world.

Venom 2 is an upcoming American superhero movie that stars Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris, Reid Scott, Stephen Graham, Woody Harrelson, as the lead actors of this movie.

This movie is directed by  Andy Serkis and produced by Avi Arad. It is not a secret anymore that the fans are very much excited about this movie and they are bouncing off the walls to know When is the Venom 2 movie is coming out.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage is anything to go by, the sequel to this Marvel movie is really leaning into the odd couple dynamic.

Starring Tom Hardy as both Eddie Brock and Venom, Venom: Let There Be Carnage serves as a sequel to the 2018 super-hero movie Venom. This time around, journalist Eddie Brock is learning to adjust to the monstrous alien presence in his life, trying to get

back to normal, by interviewing a serial killer (Woody Harrelson) for an article. But everything leads back to Venom, as it always does.

Venom 2 new release date: When is the movie coming out?

Let’s begin with the most important fact, when is Venom: Let There Be Carnage even coming out? The movie was set for a release date on Oct. 2, 2021, but the new release date is now Oct. 15, 2021. Will that date stick? Only time will tell, but fingers crossed!

Will Venom Let There Be Carnage Be On Hbo Max?

No. Venom 2 is a Sony movie, not a Warner Bros. movie, and therefore Venom: Let There Be Carnage will not be on HBO Max at the same time it is in theaters.  HBO Max—which is owned by Warner Media—has been the streaming home for blockbuster Warner Bros. theatrical movies like The Many Saints of Newark, but it will not be the streaming home for Venom 2. (At least, not any time soon.)

When Will Venom Let There Be Carnage Be Streaming?

Venom: Let There Be Carnage will release on digital platforms on November 23, 2021, just in time for Thanksgiving. At that time, you will be able to buy a digital copy of Venom 2 on websites like Amazon Prime, iTunes, Google Play, YouTube, and more.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage will then be released on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on December 14, 2021.

The first place Venom 2 will most likely go after its VOD and DVD release—though it’s not guaranteed—is Starz, due to a pre-existing deal with the premium cable network. The good news is that if Venom: Let There Be Carnage does go to Starz, most likely 6 to 9 months after it debuts in theaters (meaning March 2022 to June 2022), it will also be available on services like Hulu with the Starz add-on.

Disney also recently made a deal with Sony to bring Spider-Man and other Marvel properties to Disney Plus after the movies were released on Netflix—but that deal begins with Sony’s 2022 release slate, and Venom 2 will release in 2021.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage Story Details

While plot details for Venom: Let There Be Carnage are still largely being held under wraps, the sequel picks up after the events of the first movie and will continue Eddie Brock’s journey as the host of an alien symbiote. This will include interviewing Cletus Kasady prior to his death sentence.

However, Kasady’s Carnage symbiote kicks in to protect him, allowing the serial killer to escape. This will lead to Venom and Carnage clashing for the first time on the big screen. However, the second trailer for Venom 2 revealed that Eddie is still coping with how to

contain Venom, with the human insisting Venom bite down on car tires so as to avoid harming others and destroying public property.

The latest trailer also offers a look at the introduction of Shriek’s powers, which include sonic manipulation. She ultimately allies with Carnage, who will have an origin story in the sequel.

Venom 2: Let There Be Carnage Ending Explained

Venom: Let There Be Carnage ends with Eddie Brock and Venom teaming up after a short break-up to take down the villain Cletus Kasady aka Carnage (Woody Harrelson).

After Cletus rescues his long-time love, Frances Barrison, aka Shriek (Naomie Harris), from her imprisonment, they go to a cathedral to host their own “red wedding.” They bring along some extra witnesses, San Francisco detective Patrick Mulligan (Stephen Graham) and Eddie’s ex Anne (Michelle Williams), to lure Venom to their location.

Shriek wants revenge on Mulligan for shooting her in the eye, as seen in the flashback at the start of the movie. Cletus wants revenge on Eddie for betraying his trust and moving up his death sentence. Carnage, meanwhile, intends to kill his father: Venom.

After his escape, Venom 2 sets up Carnage’s grand plan as he travels through San Francisco, killing anyone he feels like and stealing anything he sees, including a red muscle car. As he terrorizes the city, he and Carnage grow even more powerful and deadly. But as their bloodlust grows, Venom and Eddie go through a huge argument and separate, leaving each other vulnerable. Not only is this bad for both parties, but it gives Carnage more than enough time to set up his pieces for the film’s climactic battle
