Tom Holland’s latest web-slinging adventure, Spider-Man: No Way Home, has landed in UK cinemas with a bang. And he hasn’t returned alone. Set in the Marvel Universe, Spider-Man: No Way Home attempts to tie the Holland era with the worlds of predecessors Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.
The Multiverse madness sees all of our favourite villains collide, from Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin to Jamie Foxx’s Electro and Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock. And based on the reviews that have dropped since the film’s world premiere in Los Angeles on 13th December – including RadioTimes.com’s four-star verdict – fans are in for a treat.

Spider-Man: No Way Home Release Date
Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to release in India on Thursday, December 16. The movie will be released in Indian cinemas in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
Countries including Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Czechia, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Malaysia, Mexico, the Netherlands, Portugal, Singapore, Slovakia, and Ukraine will also see a December 16 release of the new Spider-Man movie.
Spider-Man: No Way Home will hit the cinemas a day earlier on Wednesday, December 15 in countries including Finland, France, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Russia, South Korea, Sweden, and the UK.
Spider-Man: No Way Home will see its US release only on Friday, December 17.
Sony Pictures is going for an exclusive theatrical release for Spider-Man: No Way Home. No word for now when Spider-Man: No Way Home will arrive on online platforms.
Can I stream Spider-Man No Way Home?
Marvel fans are used to seeing MCU movies land on Disney Plus.
However, while Black Widow, Wonder Woman 1984 and The Suicide Squad became available on Disney Plus on the same day as their cinema releases, sadly the same can’t be said of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Like the previous two Spider-Man movies, No Way Home will not be available to stream on Disney Plus anytime soon and is instead set for an exclusive cinema release.It won’t be available on any other streaming platform either for the foreseeable.
In April 2021, Sony made a deal with Disney to bring its content, including Spider-Man films, to Disney Plus, but this will only apply to movies released after 2022. Given that the Sony-Disney deal is a US deal, it’s unclear what will be in store for UK viewers, and Spidey fans will have to stay tuned for more information.
Is Spider-Man No Way Home coming to Amazon Prime Video?
Yes, eventually. Right now, the plan is for No Way Home to follow in the footsteps of other Sony movies and land on Starz – a streaming channel you can subscribe to through Amazon Prime Video – in the US early next year.
Thanks to Sony’s deal with Starz, No Way Home is expected to have its streaming release exclusively on the service – and it likely won’t land on Disney Plus until it has had its run on Starz.
Is Spider Man No Way Home coming to Netflix?
As detailed above, the first place Spider-Man: No Way Home will go after its digital release is Amazon Prime Video’s Starz. Sadly, there are currently no plans for Spider-Man No Way Home to land on Netflix.
Sony Pictures signed a new deal with Netflix back in April 2021 that will see the streamer become the exclusive home of Sony movies after they are shown in cinemas and on-demand runs, starting in 2022.
“This not only allows us to bring Sony’s impressive slate of beloved film franchises and new IP to Netflix in the US, but it also establishes a new source of first-run films for Netflix movie lovers worldwide,” Netflix’s head of global films, Scott Stuber, said at the time.
However, with Spider-Man: No Way Home being a 2021 movie, this is unlikely to be included in the new agreement.
Is Spider-Man: No Way Home on Hulu?
‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ is currently not available for streaming on Hulu. However, audiences looking for similar creature features can try watching ‘Crawl,’ ‘Dustwalker,’ and ‘Sea Fever‘ instead. All of them feature varied kinds of deadly monsters that will thrill/scare you for sure.
Is No Way Home coming to Disney Plus?
Long story short: Probably, but not for some time.
After Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and, soon, Eternals, you’d expect the latest Marvel blockbuster to be heading the way of Disney’s streaming platform. Shang-Chi hit Disney Plus 45 days after the movie’s theatrical release, and Eternals is scheduled to be exclusively in cinemas for a minimum of 45 days, pegging its Disney Plus release for at the earliest late December (one report says it won’t arrive until mid-January).
But No Way Home is a Marvel Studios and Sony-produced movie, so the playing field is a little different. Thanks to Sony’s deal with Starz, No Way Home is slated to have its streaming release exclusively on the TV service early next year, following the movie’s home release (normally about three months after its theatrical release).
Will There Be a Spider-Man: No Way Home ?
Never say never! Netflix always has the hunger to start their own blockbuster franchises. With sequels to Bright, Bird Box, Extraction, The Old Guard, Enola Holmes and Murder Mystery all in development as well as buying the rights to the highly anticipated sequels to Rian Johnson’s Knives Out, the streamer is not one to turn down a sequel.
