Spider-Man: No Way Home Release Date
Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to release in India on Thursday, December 16. The movie will be released in Indian cinemas in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
Countries including Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Czechia, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Malaysia, Mexico, the Netherlands, Portugal, Singapore, Slovakia, and Ukraine will also see a December 16 release of the new Spider-Man movie.
Spider-Man: No Way Home will hit the cinemas a day earlier on Wednesday, December 15 in countries including Finland, France, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Russia, South Korea, Sweden, and the UK.
Spider-Man: No Way Home will see its US release only on Friday, December 17.
Sony Pictures is going for an exclusive theatrical release for Spider-Man: No Way Home. No word for now when Spider-Man: No Way Home will arrive on online platforms.
Where to Watch Spider-Man: No Way Home
Right now, the only place to watch Spider-Man: No Way Home is in a movie theater when it opens in the U.S. nationwide on Friday, December 17, and in the U.K. on December 15. You can find a showing at a movie theater near you here.

After the movie’s theatrical run, you will be able to purchase Spider-Man: No Way Home on digital platforms like Amazon, iTunes, Google Play, YouTube, and Vudu.
Is ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ streaming?
The web-slinger isn’t on the web just yet. Anyone hoping to stream Spider-Man: No Way Home will have to wait at least 45 days. Once No Way Home does become available, it won’t be heading to Disney Plus for a while, either.
This is because it’s Sony, and not Marvel or Disney, who owns the movie rights to Spider-Man. Although Sony struck a deal with Disney in April 2021 to bring their new movies (including Spider-Man) to Disney+ in the US, that deal only comes into effect with new releases from 2022 to 2026. What’s more, those movies will only land on Disney+ after they’ve been made available for home rental and been available on Netflix for an initial 18-month period.
Since that deal isn’t active just yet, this means Spider-Man: No Way Home, like other Sony films, will first be made available to rent on Starz in the US before eventually streaming on Netflix.
In the UK, Sony’s movies are first available to rent on digital storefronts like Amazon Prime and iTunes. Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Sony’s recent sequel featuring the Spider-Man villain, was made available for home rental on Nov. 29, roughly six weeks after it was released in cinemas. Assuming Spider-Man: No Way Home works on a similar timescale, that would mean this MCU sequel would show up for home rental at the end of January 2022 before appearing on Netflix at a later date.
Will Spider-Man: No Way Home Be on HBO Max?
No. Spider-Man: No Way Home is a Sony movie, not a Warner Bros. movie, and therefore Spider-Man: No Way Home will not be on HBO Max at the same time it is in theaters. HBO Max—which is owned by Warner Media—has been the streaming home for blockbuster Warner Bros. theatrical movies like Dune, but it will not be the streaming home for Spider-Man: No Way Home. (At least, not any time soon.)
Is Spider-Man: No Way Home available on Netflix?
The possibilities are endless now that the MCU is going full multiverse in the latest Spidey cinematic endeavor, and it would be an ideal experience to enjoy the Marvel feature on the streaming service. While there may be a dimension out there where the Sony flick is available on the streamer, it certainly is not this one because Spider-Man: No Way Home is not an option on Netflix.
But there are many other excellent superheroes and comic book-based titles available on the popular streaming service. Some of these exciting examples include The Umbrella Academy, The Punisher, Warrior Nun, and Daredevil, among several others.
