The world remains enthralled at the current trial of Ghislaine Maxwell, the former lover of the disgraced and deceased financier Jeffrey Epstein. Of course, Maxwell was the woman who introduced Epstein to many different powerful figures in the 1990s, such as Bill Clinton & Prince Andrew, and she now faces charges which include sex trafficking a minor, sex trafficking conspiracy, and allegation of perjury.
Jeffrey Epstein was seemingly a horrible human being who is better off not being on this planet, but was Ghislaine Maxwell more of an accomplice or a victim? Epstein, as we’ve learned over the years, was a very manipulative and powerful person with powerful friends. But might it be possible that Ghislaine Maxwell remains truly innocent in these allegations? Not if you understand just how both she and Epstein operated as a pair.
Specifically, as a pair, the duo has enough testimonies stacked against them to make them the modern-day Bonnie & Clyde, only instead of robbing banks and murdering people they instead act(ed) within an evil sex trafficking ring. But just what are the details? Before diving into how the pair would lure young victims, let us first delve into just who Jeffrey Epstein was.

Jeffrey Epstein
Born on January 20th, 1953, in Brooklyn, NY, Jeffrey Epstein began his professional career as a teacher before shifting to finance & banking, working for Bear Stearns before eventually establishing a firm of his own. If only it had stopped there . . .
Epstein had linked himself with multiple famous personalities, rumored to have been friends with the likes of Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew, Tom Barrack, Woody Allen, Bill Barr, Harvey Weinstein, and, of course, future President of the United States Donald Trump. A club of filthy rich and some problematic jerks that, quite frankly, we won’t give any more attention to.
On August 10th, 2019, Jeffery Epstein was found dead in his cell by an apparent suicide while he was waiting to go on trial for several sex trafficking charges. He died with a net worth of over $500 million, which makes it curious as to why he wanted to kill himself if he could’ve just bought his way out of the legal system? Many to this day still believe that Epstein’s suicide was really an inside job murder. Hopefully we’ll find out one day.

Promising young women
During the start of the trial, Assistant U.S. Attorney Lara Pomerantz said that the British socialite as well as Jeffrey Epstein enticed girls as young as fourteen to engage in “so-called massages” in which sex abuse came to be seen as “casual and normal” after they were showered with money and gifts. The prosecutor made their point clear how Maxwell played a major role in aiding Epstein, proving the defense team wrong.
“She was in on it from the start. The defendant and Epstein lured their victims with a promise of a bright future, only to sexually exploit them,” Pomerantz said. They continued by communicating how Maxwell “helped normalize abusive sexual conduct” by making the teenagers feel safe and by taking them on shopping trips and asking them about their lives, their schools, and their families. Eww.
Naturally, the defense team for Ghislaine Maxwell was quick to point out the elephant in the room, disclosing how, while Jeffrey Epstein is no longer around, that he still holds a major influence over this trial, and that it is his crimes in which Ghislaine Maxwell is being tried for, and she was merely a scapegoat for a man who died prematurely before he could pay for his actions.
