The UFC 268 main event will witness the wrath of Kamaru Usman, who will give it his all to defend his welterweight championship against bitter rival Colby Covington on November 6th in New York City.
UFC 268 is looking like a classic in the making. Last week the UFC turned in a sneaky PPV banger minus any real star power, but UFC 268 is bringing a multitude of big names to the table.
In the main event, we have a rematch of one of the greatest title fights of all time in Kamaru Usman vs. Colby Covington. The last time these two wrestlers fought they beat the ever-loving hell out of one another on the feet. Will they do the same in the rematch? Hard to say. I’d expect a little more wrestling in this one, but wrestler vs. wrestler match-ups tend to be fought standing, so I’m expecting another war.
But Usman vs. Covington is just the beginning. UFC 268 features another title fight rematch between Rose Namajunas and Zhang Weili. The last time they fought Namajunas knocked Weili out with a spectacular head kick in the first round. I don’t see that happening this time. This will most likely be a striking clinic between two of the best strikers in the UFC. Absolutely cannot wait for this.

UFC 268 breaths of the air live on pay-per-view from Madison Square Garden in New York, NY on Saturday, November 6, which makes it Sunday, November 7 in the UK and Australia. The main event is a championship rematch between reigning welterweight champion Kamaru Usman and former interim titleholder Colby Covington.
Usman (19-1) stopped Covington (16-2) in the fifth round of their first fight in December 2019 at UFC 245. In his previous bout in April “The Nigerian Nightmare” knocked out Jorge Masvidal in the second round of their rematch, and made the fourth successful defense of his belt. “Chaos” was in action in September 2020 when he took the win against former 170-pound champion Tyron Woodley via fifth-round TKO.

The UFC 268 co-main event is a championship rematch between two-time women’s strawweight champion Rose Namajunas (10-4) and former champion Zhang Weili (21-2). “Thug Rose” claimed the belt against “Magnum” by knockout in the first round in April.
Also on the main card former interim UFC lightweight champion Justin Gaethje (22-3) squares off against former 155-pound Bellator MMA champion and fellow UFC-title challenger Michael Chandler (22-6). In addition, Shane Burgos (13-3) and Billy Quarantillo (16-3) battle it out at featherweight.
Kicking off the action live on pay-per-view, former UFC lightweight champion and featherweight title challenger Frankie Edgar (24-9-1) takes on Marlon Vera (17-7-1) at bantamweight. The full UFC 268 lineup can be found below.
UFC 268 USMAN VS. COVINGTON 2 BETTING ODDS
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is back with another action-packed PPV event on November 6, 2021. Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman is expected to rematch rival Colby Covington in a five-round main event for the 170-pound title.
Usman got the better of Covington in the first outing, winning by a late fifth-round stoppage. Just before that, in the co-main event, we have another championship rematch to look forward to, when newly-crowned Women’s Strawweight Champion, Rose Namajunas, takes on former champion Weili Zhang once again.
The first fight took place just months ago, where Namajunas got the KO just one minute into the first round. UFC 268 is expected to feature other high-profile names such as Justin Gaethje taking on Michael Chandler, as well as former 185-pound Champion, Luke Rockhold, taking on surging contender Sean Strickland.
