Bond freaks are having quite the year. James Bond has been a cultural phenomenon for decades and is now deeply ingrained into the fabric of American culture, as well as overseas. However, in 2021, the content competition for the attention of consumers everywhere is a tough one, and old franchises like James Bond can have a hard time keeping up with the likes of the MCU & DCU these days.
However, James Bond continues to have a devoted & loyal fanbase. This year, the James Bond superfans of the world were given yet another installment to the classic movie series, starring the latest & greatest James Bond, Daniel Craig.
Headlines across the board were spreading the news of the latest Bond flick this year, and people couldn’t have been more excited. Why was everyone going bonkers for the latest James Bond movie, No Time to Die? Well, the latest Bond flick would be the last of its kind.
Swan song
Fans were devastated to learn the latest James Bond movie, No Time to Die would be the last James Bond movie starring Daniel Craig as the smoothest spy to ever hit the silver screen. However, seeing Daniel Craig perform his swan song in the latest movie was something James Bond fans were more than excited to see.
Furthermore, seeing Daniel Craig in the role wasn’t the only thing that had Bond fans amped to finally see the movie come out.
Screen Rant reported last week that No Time to Die only came to fans after a heck of a journey behind the scenes. The movie was delayed multiple times, leaving fans more & more eager to see the final Daniel Craig performance in the movie. Like so many events & premieres over the last year or two, No Time to Die was delayed from hitting theaters due to restrictions imposed in the early days of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

However, when the latest James Bond movie was finally released in October 2021, fans got the movie they had been waiting for in the way James Bond movies were always meant to be seen: in theaters. In fact, No Time to Die strayed from other blockbuster movies of the year like Dune by showing up in theaters only with its initial release.
While Warner Bros. has been releasing many of its releases streaming on HBO Max alongside theatrical debuts, No Time to Die’s MGM & Universal Pictures decided to only give fans 007 in theaters upon initial release. However, about a month after release, now fans are asking when they’ll be able to see the spy in action on our small screens.
Reports say that next week, fans will be able to stream the final Daniel Craig James Bond movie from the comfort of their own homes.

Now, fans are wondering if they’ll have to snag a subscription to a streaming service like HBO Max or Peacock in order to gain access to the new flick. However, reports say the people behind the release of No Time to Die have a different plan in mind.
No Time to Die will be available to stream on VOD on November 9th. However, that’s about all we know about the streaming release of the new movie. There hasn’t been a confirmed price to stream the action flick, but fans will have the option of renting the film or (we’re assuming for a heftier price) buying the movie to have for keeps.
It’s hard to say whether No Time to Die’s speedy streaming release will have other titles like it follow in its footsteps. However, lucky 007 fans will be able to see one of their favorite Bonds say goodbye on streaming by the end of the week.
